“Everything Crashes Into Me, Until It Feels Better”  2024

“Everything crashes into me, until it feels better”  explores the body as a site of absence, the rejection of intimacy and the innate violences and fear in queer sex, especially in the demographic of straight or downlow white men. This work attempts to speak duplicitously, love vs fear and violence vs sex, these emotional turmoils  and counter readings are studied through a cinematic and voyeuristic perspective reflecting the self surveillance of queer bodies in their attempts to connect with one another.
